The Military Connection Center (MCC) hosts several programs and events to assist military-affiliated students navigate their college experience. In addition to these programs and events, we also celebrate all of the branches birthdays and observe remembrance days.

Operation BLUE: Bridging Life and University Experience is a yearlong active learning program where student veterans are guided through intentionally designed activities to gain practical experience, self-awareness, and transferable skills.

This peer support program connects current student veterans trained as Peer Advisors with incoming student veterans to help them navigate college life, address challenges they may face, refer them to appropriate resources on and off-campus, and provide ongoing support.

Connects student veterans and family members to build community, provides resources and opportunities, and empowers students to reach their full potential.

In addition to the benefits you already receive, the work-study program is a VA education benefit offered to military affiliated students working towards a college degree. Earn while you learn!

Every fall and spring semesters we celebrate graduating service members, veterans, reservists, and national guard members. Graduates receive a red, white, and blue graduation cord to wear for commencement.

Resume Ready Workshop

Bring your laptop and we will work with you to get your resume in order. Listen to a brief presentation and then work hands-on to practice so that you will walk away from the session with something concrete that you can use.

Grab & Go

Celebrate the end of another semester with the MCC. We provide lunch to military-affiliated students. Connect, and grab food as you celebrate the end of the semester. Food is distributed in Lot 19 and outside of 1106 Monarch Hall.

Family Fun Day

This event is hosted at the beginning of the Fall semester. Friday is meant for family! Bring the kids, your partner, something to sit on, or just yourself to unplug and connect with the ůůֱ²¥ community with food, games, and more.
